It’s the morning after the Seek awards! Usually, this occasion is combined with a stinking hangover and a few bacon butties from the Right Track. However, this year the awards were beamed virtually to 150+ screens across NZ. This occurred yesterday 1 pm which scuppered our usual process. The blog faithful know we like to predict the results the afternoon before the event, we then get spruced up for a night of glitz, glamor, and gratuitous drinking. Once we update the blog with the winners, we publish what is a tap-in of a blog. This year things were a bit different. With a 20-hour gap between the winners being announced and the blog being posted, there’s the temptation to seem all-knowing, conveniently picking the winners of each category so there’s no doubt fingers are on pulses. Thankfully Sean in his infinite wisdom did a predictions post ages ago before the event was moved to the cybersphere, you can read that in full here. You may think that with the results already out of the bag is this blog-worthy? But, if you’re not nominated, you only really find out through celebration/commiseration posts. There isn’t a place where the info is collected in one spot with definitive proof that Sean can, in fact, be wrong. So without further ado…
