Senior IT Recruitment Consultant – Christchurch
OTE $180k–$220k+ Small, Close-Knit Team
Our client are a small, founder-led IT recruitment agency based in central Christchurch. Deliberately lean and tight-knit currently four consultants who genuinely operate as one team, they focus on quality placements, strong relationships, and realistic targets rather than corporate volume pressure.
They are now ready to add a fifth member, a Senior Consultant to take ownership of a well-established desk, hit the ground running, and help share the business development load.

- Base salary $90k room to go higher for exceptional candidates

What the role looks like
- Full desk ownership – permanent IT placements mid to senior level
- Strong emphasis on proactive business development and client hunting
- End-to-end recruitment process with a focus on high conversion
- Collaborate closely in a shared team structure – work toward collective goals while you run your own desk
- 5 days in the office with genuine family-friendly flexibility
What you’ll bring
- Minimum 3 years recruitment experience IT agency background ideal, but strong transferable agency experience considered
- Proven business development skills, confident on the phone, natural hunter, excellent at building and converting opportunities
- A “good person” with a settled, family-oriented mindset who values a balanced Christchurch lifestyle
- Team player who thrives in a close, collaborative & diverse we lean on each other team
- Ideally someone who knows Christchurch well
