The role: 

As the Recruitment Team Leader, you will lead a dedicated team of 4 professionals based in Christchurch. Your role will be pivotal in driving sales strategies, fostering client relationships, and ensuring the seamless execution of recruitment solutions. You will thrive in a fast-paced environment, where your leadership skills will be instrumental in achieving both team and organisational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and motivate a team of 4 sales professionals to achieve sales targets and KPIs.
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to expand the client base and increase revenue streams.
  • Nurture existing client relationships while actively seeking opportunities for business growth.
  • Collaborate closely with the partner company to facilitate the recruitment of highly skilled non-resident candidates.
  • Provide mentorship, coaching, and support to team members to enhance their performance and professional development.
  • Regularly analyse sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation.

What you’ll bring: 

  • Proven experience in sales management within the recruitment or staffing industry.
  • Strong leadership abilities with a track record of successfully leading and developing high-performing teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and negotiate effectively with clients and candidates.
  • Strategic mindset with a results-driven approach to sales and business development.
  • Knowledge of the New Zealand labour market, particularly in the skilled trades and labour sectors, is highly desirable.
